Testing Bio/Molecules

The Testing of the Bio/Molecule lab was long but we got through it. We did the Benedict's Test for Reducing sugars which onions were positive and high sugar concentration the potatoe turned green which meant positive, iodine Test fo Starch which we found out onions had no starch and tomatoes turned black meaning they are loaded with iodine-positive (starch). Buiret Test no protein was found in the onion nor in the potato. And last we did the Sudan IV Test the onion is a lipid because it rises to the top and the potato is negative! Here are a few pictures of the lab that day!
